Player Educational Adviser and Media Relations
Brenda Wessely is a retired educator with over thirty years experience. Her academic qualifications include an Ontario Teaching certificate, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Toronto, and a Visual Arts Specialist Certificate. She worked extensively with teacher development, mentored teacher candidates from five different university programs, taught every elementary grade, and participated in three international teacher exchange programs.
Brenda gained a great deal of knowledge in helping her own daughter to achieve an NCAA Division One gymnastic scholarship. Using this knowledge, she has been advising athletes and teams on the educational requirements needed to play at the university level for over fifteen years. Additionally she assists teams with publicity and media relations.
